Skuleberget is with the dramatic profile an important mark in our landscape.

For 9500 years ago, the sea level was 286 meters up the Skuleberget which is the highest marking in the country of the seashore after the ice sheet melting away.

The mountain has a stunning location at the edge of the wide Skuleskogen and close to the E4 motorway. The round cave (Kungsgrottan) on the mountain's eastern side is the mountain´s top attraction. The cave is alleged to have been the haunt of robbers. Archaeologists have found traces that are likely to show the temporary dwellings at 160 meter level on the mountain.

Trails and climbing routes up the mountain starts from the Naturum, at the foot of Skuleberget. At Skuleberget is Naturum with staff. Adjoining the house is a wide path and ramps that lead you around the local area. Adjacent to the trail there are shelters, toilets and fireplaces.

With the help of the cable car on the south side of the mountain, you can go up to the top. At the top is a seasonal café and a 200 m long ramp that leads to a viewing platform.

The 1100 meter-long cable car at Skuleberget can, both summer and winter, take you up to the top of Skuleberget. Once up, you can among other things, speeding down the hill in best Stenmark Style, eat or have a cake and a coffee in the top cabin and enjoy the beautiful view. If you do not want to take the cable car up to the top there is the option to go the yellow-marked way from the valley station the cottage at the top.
