The hotel is located inside the Mannaminne museum area. Hotel Mannaminne is a copy of a grand man's farm, reportedly the artist Anders Åberg's old family farm, Sestola Farm from Nyland in Finland. The hotel and all rooms are decorated with extensive paintings, decorations and wooden artworks, all with some connection to Finland.
